Abstract


The Problems Faced by Instructors in Classroom Management
The aim of the current study, which is designed as a qualitative case study, is to identify the problems faced by instructors in classroom management. The study group of the research consists of 19 faculty members working at Iğdır University in 2019-2020 fall semester. Semi-structured interview technique was used to collect data. The data obtained was analyzed in accordance with the content analysis technique. According to the results of the research, the most common problems faced by the instructors in classroom management were determind as the students' being indifferent and reluctance towards the course, using cell phone during the lesson, being late to the classroom, talking with each other and the lack of readiness of the students.
