Abstract


The Situation Created by Teachers Attending Postgraduate Education in Schools: What Do School Administrators Think?
Increasing the quality of education is directly related to the increase in the number of qualified teachers. One way to increase the number of qualified teachers is postgraduate education. It is important to examine the issues such as how teachers 'continuing postgraduate education is reflected on the functioning of the school, what are its positive / negative sides, in the context of school administrators' views. The aim of this study is to reveal the opinions of school administrators about the reflection of teachers' graduate education process on the school. The research is a qualitative research and examined with a case study model. The study group of the research consists of 30 school administrators. The structured interview form created by the researchers was used as a measurement tool in the study. The data were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the results of the research, school administrators have expressed a positive opinion towards teachers who are receiving graduate education. In addition, it was determined that teachers had problems regarding legal leaves during their graduate education process and that the provisions of the current law were insufficient.
