Abstract


The Intermittent Compulsory Education System for 12 Years from the Viewpoint of Administrators: The Case of Giresun
The aim of this study is to determine the opinions administrators on 4 +4 +4 compulsory education system. In this research; that 106 administrators, who serve in separate primary, secondary and high schools in Giresun province at 2013-2014 academic year ;participated in; the questionnaire and structured inter-view method were used as data collect means with qualitative and quantitative research methods. The study was evaluated under 5 main headings, in the light of “the function of school”, “the teacher”, “the student and curator relationships”, “the administrator” and “the problems of administration”, both strong and weak aspects of the system were observed and they recommend solutions for the problems of the new system
