Abstract


Opinions of Teacher Candidates about Individual Value Management
The aim of this study was to determine the Opinions of Teacher Candidates about Individual Value Management. “Individual Values Scale” was used in order to determine the opinions within the scope of the survey conducted by general survey model. Population of the survey consisted of the teacher candidates receiving Pedagogical Formation Education in Nevşehir University during 2012-2013 academic year. Since the survey population was full, a sample couldn’t be taken additionally. According to the teacher candidates participating into the survey, the most important value judgment directing the human life is the value judgment of “respect to human beings” for which the participation was shown with an “exact” rate (x¯= 4,95). And individually, 30% of the teacher candidates stated the judgment of “justice” as a primary value in the first rank. When these results are considered, it has been seen that these value judgments should be taken into consideration by school administrations.
