In this article, It is drawn attention to functional similarities, essential differences and ordinary forms of relationship between religion and culture. Religion has functions such as gaining awareness about its own being, giving meaning to life, changing and transforming it. On the other hand, life becomes meaningful in a culture environment that contains all kinds of human activities. Therefore, it is important that the attitude that faith should take in relation to culture, it is also important the way of understanding and expressing of the culture to the faith. The issue is not just a matter of debate at the intellectual level. However, it is constantly concerned with people's life practices.
