Abstract
A Research on Turkısh Language and Lıterature Teachers Questıonnaıre Questıons
The study was conducted in order to determine the skill of asking questions considering the cognitive steps of Turkish Language and Literature teachers. The data of the study consists of 340 exam questions taken from 22 Turkish Language and Literature teachers who worked in 8 High Schools in the central districts of Van in the academic year of 2016-2017. The study is an area survey and the method used is field survey. How the questions are distributed according to the cognitive steps; how the steps they take are distributed according to the grade level; which questions of the taxonomy and how the types of questions are distributed according to taxonomy. Frequency and percentage are used for mathematical calculations. According to the findings of the study, 77% of the questions were lower; 23% are in the upper cognitive steps. The most questions, knowledge and practice in all classes; at least in the question analysis, synthesis and evaluation stages. The majority of the questions asked according to the questions and the most questions in the taxonomic distribution of the question types are in the lower cognitive steps. These findings show that teachers have not yet had the ability to ask questions according to supra cognitive steps.
