The Investigation of Teacher and School Administrators' Performance Self-Evaluation Results in Terms of Grades of School and Graduation Factors
The purpose of this research is to examine the results of the self-evaluation carried out with the criteria that the teachers and the school administrators want to be included in the performance evaluation process in terms of the grade of schools and the types of school teachers graduated from (alma mater variable) variables. The 'Teacher Performance Assessment Scale' (Dilbaz Sayın, 2017) developed by the researcher was employed in order to determine the results of the self-evaluation related to the teacher performance evaluation process of teachers and school administrators in the study conducted with the survey research method. 404 teachers and school administrators working in Çanakkale city center state schools comprised the sample of this research. Percentage, frequency, ANOVA and Tukey parametric statistical analysis methods were used in the analysis of the data obtained with the 'Teacher Performance Assessment Scale'. The results indicated that while the teachers and administrators’ self-evaluation results significantly differed by the grade of schools, there was no significant difference in the type of school teachers graduated from (alma mater variable).
