Abstract
Examining Recreational Exercise Motivation Measure with Respect to Recreational Sports Type: The Case of Antalya
The purpose of the present study is to examine Recreational Exercise Motivation Measure (REMM) with respect to recreational sports type in Antalya example. Sampling group is formed by stratified sampling and involves 441 males, 341 female, totally 782 participants. In or-der to analyze the data, the descriptive statistics methods, and nonparametric tests as Kruskal Wallis test was used to explain relation between dependent and independent variables. Results have been assessed according to significant level 0.05. As a result, this study presents that recreative sports participant’s REMM scores have statistically meaningful difference in all sub dimensions of REMM when compared by sports types and by joining group.
